Karen Gatbonton has practiced business immigration law for over eight years and has handled immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions, including Multinational Executives and Managers (EB1-3), Aliens of Extraordinary Ability (EB 1-1), Aliens of Exceptional Ability (EB 2-1), B-1/B-2, E-1/E-2, F, H, J, K, L, TN, and consular law and naturalization matters. Additionally, Karen is experienced in labor certification cases, including traditional, RIR and PERM. She has also handled immigration compliance audits and compliance issues in mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring.

Karen's knowledge and experience in a wide range of immigration issues enables her to provide creative strategies and solutions. Karen derives personal satisfaction in assisting clients to achieve their goal of working and living in the United States and is committed to delivering results in an efficient and professional manner.

Karen has successfully represented individuals, small businesses and multi-national companies in various industries, including information technology, automobile, consumer electronics, business, and banking and finance.

EDUCATION: Ms. Gatbonton received her J.D. and B.A. degrees from the University of Queensland in Australia.

On a personal note, Ms. Gatbonton enjoys pilates, pumping iron (gym classes), traveling, reading and cooking.
